We've Been Waiting For You....

Thief In The Night

You asked for it

The whole day was one big psyche job. All the overnight rallying. The HMH formation late last night. And the slow choppy descent. It was a good day to really check all the different chart intervals, both the tick charts and minute charts. It was actually a relaxed boring day if you used the larger minute charts. And if you didn't forget the sell signal on the daily chart.

What's Next?

We have broken up through that downward trendline. We have a sustained buy signal on the weekly. But the monthly view looks like it could go either way. I'm looking for some kind of pop - up or down - this coming week, after being in a sideways channel for these past few days.

A Closer Look At Thursday

This chart kept us from getting sucked into a long position at the open and from being short into the close. Believe me, a lot of people lost money at both times today.
Did you?

So We Had Our Pop

We broke through and traded above the upper trend line. Will we stay above it or break down through it tomorrow on options expiration day?

Navigating The Squeeze

Step One: Identify that price is squeezing in a tight range.

Step Two: Cross-confirm the different chart intervals to discover distorted FRO signals.

Step Three: Patiently wait for previously determined, valid buy or sell signals.

Print out the above charts. Lay them side-by-side. Find pivot points that cross-confirm
each other. Take note of the signals you can trust. Given enough time and practice one can learn to see opportunities in almost all types of trading environments.
